Dog-friendly accommodation at Vila Vista

If you would rather not arrange dog care during your holiday, bring your pet with you. Vila Vista offers accommodation in Demänovská Valley where dogs are welcomed as part of the family. Simply let us know in advance when booking that you will be bringing a dog, so we can confirm a suitable accommodation type and the current rules.

Our rules for stays with dogs

A well-behaved dog makes a wonderful hotel guest. Dogs bring warmth, smiles and loyalty with their energy. A dog is considered a person’s best friend, and it matters to us that guests can bring this friend and family member along. However, it is important to follow these

6 RULES OF DOG ETIQUETTE

1. TAKE YOUR DOG EVERYWHERE WITH YOU, and do not leave them alone in the room. Your dog is in an unfamiliar environment and may feel anxious or distressed when left alone, which can lead to damaged furniture, duvets or decorations…

2. ONLY BRING A HOUSE-TRAINED DOG TO THE HOTEL

3. BRING YOUR DOG’S OWN BLANKET, or a dog bed, so that they do not jump onto the hotel bed or sofa. If dog hair is found on the bed or sofa, we charge an upholstery-cleaning fee of EUR 30.

4. BRING YOUR OWN BOWLS for food and water; do not use the hotel dishes intended for guests. If you have forgotten your own bowls, let us know and we will provide bowls intended for your dog.

5. YOUR DOG SHOULD BARK AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. Otherwise, you may make the stay unpleasant for yourself and for guests in nearby rooms.

6. LARGE DOG BREEDS ARE NOT PERMITTED, such as German Shepherds. A Hungarian Vizsla or Weimaraner is acceptable, but must be well trained. We trust owners to judge for themselves whether a stay is suitable.
